Amorette

I've been wanting to try this place since they opened. I'm pretty upset I missed my chance at the full dining experience, but I'm glad I was about to at least try out the Lounge before they closed. My date and I decided to go all out, and we ordered at least half of the total food menu and most of the cocktails. We loved every bit of it. The cocktails that stood out to me the most were the Black Smoked Manhattan and the Cachaça Beet Fizz. My top three dishes were the Pork Loin & Belly, the Morel Fettuccine (with Summer Truffle added), and the French Apple Cake. Overall, it was a fun, relaxed, yet elegant experience for both of us. We hate to see the restaurant go, and we can only hope that the next place provides a similar, elevated experience.

We came here for our 10th Anniversary and it could not have been more splendid. I will be raving about this restaurant for quite a while. Everything was exquisite from the moment we walked in, the food, libation, the conversations, the chefs, the flowers and many kind congratulations on our anniversary. The details and great care came even before we stepped in the restaurant with a call of introduction after making the reservation. We were truly made to feel very special on this occasion. The food was phenomenally prepared, plated and well portioned for us. I feel fortunate to experience this kind of cuisine and team here in Lancaster. For today, worth. every. penny. I hope to be back.

We went for the Valentines Day prefix dinner at $175/each. A bit pricy, but worth it for special occasions. The service was beyond spectacular! We had several people serving our courses but Gabriel was our Culinary Ambassador and he was friendly, funny and attentive. He made the experience relaxing and removed the “stuffy “ from the atmosphere. The culinary presentations were just fabulous! Prior reviews talked about small portions of food, so we didn’t expect much. I have to say while the portions were not what most would expect for a meal, they were just enough and we left very satisfied. The care, expertise, and creativity of the chef were obvious in all the plates. While the prices may limit Amorette to special occasions, we will return!

I have been to dozens of countries, and the greatest joy is to explore the local specialties. Restaurant environment, hygiene, service、Food styling has artistic effect, taste, health...is the standard I like. This is my second time dining at Amorette and I love it. Award-winning chef team and Professional Sommelier. A multi-sensory dining experience, a very enjoyable dinner.

My husband and I went on a date night there and it was so far my favorite restaurant experience so far in life! Everyone is so knowledgeable and polite. The whole atmosphere is amazing. The food and wine divine. The presentation of the food is so creative and tells a story. We’re so excited to go back!

Are you a lover of European style haute cuisine who needs a "Little Love" in Lancaster City? If so then run to make a reservation tout de suite at this stylish two-year-old culinary gem. Given that this agricultural region of Pennsylvania turns out some of the finest raw ingredients in the United States, it's high-time for a kitchen that knows how to actually put the local produce to good use. The four and seven course prix fixe menus here provide an eclectic variety of choices, so it is very difficult to put a precise label on a style or theme. But all of the appetizers and the entrees we ordered were delicious, including wagyu beef, partridge, and scallops, among many others. Everything is elegantly presented. When they finally come, the desserts are as decadent and caloric as one could ever expect or want. The dining space itself is narrow but very stylish with dark woods and subdued lighting, putting one in mind of the now extinct Lion D'or in Washington. For oenophiles the wine list is quite extensive (available online) and a Sommelier is hovering nearby to help. Overall, the service is attentive but not overly familiar. There are two private rooms available for parties, and the Lounge (smartly set apart in different corner) is great for meeting friends either pre or post dinner. In short, it's a bit of shock to find superb food in a town that hasn't seen much of it in the past. In German Amorette translates to "Cupid" so you should just love it, at least a little and probably a lot!

My Girlfriend and I had a lovely dinner celebrating our 2 years anniversary. We were perfectly welcomed by Amorette staff and very well entertained by their somelier Thierry. The food was excellent and their dessert paired with the champagne was devined! Thank you for the experience and looking forward to it again!

From the moment my friend and I walked in we were treated like royalty. Every single member of the staff was gracious and accommodating. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We chose the 7-course meal and I'm so glad we did. Every single bite was perfect. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer every question we asked. I would go again in a heartbeat.

A cut above for sure. Outstanding presentation, perfect portion sizes to sample several items, and masterful mixing of flavors and notes. The lobster roll and the gnocchi with oxtail are 2 of the best I have ever had. Remarkable to have something like this in Lancaster and I hope they are successful for years to come.
