Grinder's Cafe

Very friendly guys who own the business. They really care about their product. Good place to eat, and coffee was extremely good and fresh. Sandwiches are freshly made to order. Good variety of sandwiches on menu. Fresh baked goods as well. Relaxing atmosphere in character filled old house. Good place to hang out, work on computer, study, meet friends, etc. We will definitely be returning customers.

First of all, great coffee is what we all want no matter the place. And this is the place. The ambience is warm and relaxing with a taste of the old southwest enchantment that New Mexico is famous for. The service is devoted to cleanliness and comfort of and for their customers. Great place to experience with a group or to simply read a book. With some great coffee and food.

The food and coffee was fantastic, but the service left a LOT to be desired. My wife and I both ordered food and coffee. Now keep in mind, they were NOT busy, at all. Fifteen minutes after we ordered, her coffee arrived. Ten minutes later, her food arrived, albeit, not exactly correct. Ten minutes later, my coffee arrived; and finally, another 15 minutes later, my food arrived. Yep, 50 minutes for my food to arrive, after bits and pieces of our order trickled to our table, one piece at a time. They were not busy, so that wasn't the cause. If they get their service in order, this will be a great place, because as I said, the food was wonderful.

BEST FRESH MENU!!! I Went in today and the owner Happened to have helped me out and he was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out an AWESOME LUNCH!! They served me with respect and great service!!! His wife is such a lovely lady and is always greeting us when we go in although she isnt there much...when she arrives she's always ready to help serve and smile!! We needed something like this in our town! Im happy with my visit and I will always recommend and I will be back!!! What a lovely family... And great food and coffee!!

CLOSED DURING POSTED BUSINESS HOURS. APPEARS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. After trying to find Grinder's Coffee at all, it appears it's closed permanently. Another website's review said that the owners were turning it into a bed and breakfast. No signage to indicate anything of relevance about Grinder's Coffee. Furnishings are still out. Cafe cats still meandering property. It just looks like a very old residential block of apartments/bungalows. Take a miss.

Wow a very friendly staff! (Finally) NO job burn out here. Owners spoke to me and we chatted about the old house that restaurant is in.Salad was made just for me as DEREK asked me what I liked! I hope it's a big hit with all. Even has a fireplace and cucumber water on ice. Complimentary! You'll love it and it's close to everything!😉
