Smoke Brewing Company

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Good mix between a bar and a restaurant. Good drinks, yummy sandwiches, football on several TVs..... It's ALMOST like the world isn't insane... For an hour or so. Husband loves the beer selection. They brew their own and lots to choose from. They were pretty busy this time (good for them!) And we were asked for a reservation when we got to the door. Next time we'll call ahead. Worth the 30 min wait.

The wife and I have been here a few times. We have tried the Bernie Mac, the smoked meatloaf, the Briskwich (she says it included maybe the best bacon she has ever had), and the pulled pork sandwich. Everything so far has been top notch and memorable. We have enjoyed great service each time, too. Very few brewpubs are able to pull off great food AND great beers. Normally one or the other pales in comparison, but as unbelievable as some of their food menu items are, they have some beer offerings that match. And the beer menu changes without getting too weird or experimental.

This place is awesome. The food was incredibly delicious and plentiful. Caleb was also an excellent host and provided superior service. This is a place I would definitely recommend to Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Go check it and select one of their beers. We were also given free pork rinds which my wife really enjoyed

Outstanding food , beer and atmosphere! We live 45 minutes away and finally took the drive and it was well worth it. Our daughter loved her Mac and cheese, and so did we. The meatloaf had a perfect amount of smoke. We were skeptical ordering a BBQ plate of meat but one of the owners suggested it and it was phenomenal. Portions were large, and we took plenty home. It seems they are doing everything right at Smoke, and we are already planning our next visit.

Decent. Our bar staff a bit unattentive, but very friendly. Enjoyed talking to the owner, he is expanding his business, with some exciting things to come in downtown Lee's Summit. We did not get BBQ so I can't speak to that, but the food we did get was good, nothing exceptional about it though. House Spicy Bloody Mary was good but nothing special about it without a garnishment or a straw, and overpriced.

The hostess at Smoke and very rude! We went to the bar area and were told by the bartender we could sit at a table near the bar. The table was not reserved. The rude hostess told us we could not sit there because they had already reserved the table although there wasn't a reserve sign like the other tables. We used to go to Smoke a lot and especially for brunch on Sunday. Safe to say we will never go there again because of the very rude hostess.
