Cook's Barbecue

I could have bought better food at the grocery store. Their chicken tenders were low quality. Their fries were flavorless. Their okra was the best thing that I got, and those were mediocre. The service was poor. These were just my views. Don't get me started on the service that my friends received. I would rate it lower than one star, but Google won't let me do that.

The bbq was great as always, however the service was only sub-par. We sat for about 5 minutes before we were waited on, then the waitress forgot to bring salad bowls for the 1 trip salad bar. Another waitress delivered our food and I asked to have the salad removed from our bill since we never got our bowls to get the salads. She removed the charge and we never saw our waitress again until we were almost done eating. Even though our service wasn't great we wanted to leave a tip because I still felt she deserved something for waiting on us, but because we only had a credit card and no cash we couldn't. Their machine doesn't have the option to add tips for the wait staff! I had a serious problem with this because I believe everyone should be paid for their services, good or bad. Our only option was to drive 3 miles down the road to the arm, pay a $3 fee to get cash and take the tip back! Sadly, we weren't going to all the trouble to do that so no tip. Management needs to get this fixed, if you take credit cards then you must have the option to add a tip so your staff is also taken care of!
