Christakis

We chose what we wanted from the menu outside but when we went in he presented us with set menus which were 3 course and more expensive than what we had in mind. When we said we didn’t want the set menu, he said that was all they were offering-so we stood up to leave and he suddenly changed his mind and said we could choose from the regular menu after all. Felt a bit like he was trying it on with us tbh. When the food we ordered arrived , we really enjoyed it, large portions too. Took a long time getting us our bill and we had to ask a couple of different waiters for it.

Four of us enjoyed a fabulous meal at Christakis. We started with a selection of starters, which we all shared, and were gifted with an additional starter from the restaurant. All of them were absolutely delicious! We then had our main courses which again were delicious...OMG the portions were HUGE!!! Not only did we get our main item (e.g. lamb/chicken/moussaka) but each was served with rice AND chips! Very generous but, hate to say it, quite daunting for me to have so much on the plate at one time!!! My son did finish his plateful and took the remaining half of mine home with him to eat the following day! Service was first class! The manager was really friendly and made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our visit. Our friends have booked to return for their son's graduation meal and we are returning separately too. Definitely recommend!

Omg, this was truly unbelievably great! I've eaten at a lot of Greek restaurants around the world, including Greece, but this was by far the standout for all the right reasons. We had the meat platter for two and everything went beyond flawless to genuinely elevated. Amazing food, great service and great value. Think we'll still be talking about this lunch for many years to come.

We booked for Thursday 7.30 as the menu said early bird was 3-10. The menu on the table said 3-7. I raised it with the waitress and she pleasantly agreed to honour it. The staff we friendly and polite. The service was good and the food was well made and fresh. You can see the chefs through the glass. It wasn't very busy but really nice and modern place. Retains wine was good and reasonably priced

Stayed in the apartments above the restaurant so we decided to get a take out from this restaurant. It was absolutely delicious!! Ready to pick up within 15mins, staff could be more helpful on collection, really warm feeling to the place. Combo kebab and some mixed starters were cooked/prepared to perfection. Thanks again!

Very warm and welcoming staff, great service and great food. Just what we needed after the pre-Christmas fasting period. The lamb livers with onions and other appetisers were tasty, the meat from the "mixed meat platter for two" was tender and flavourful, and overall at a very good price for such large portions. They also brought us baklava for dessert as a complementary treat (no charge), which was delicious! We were too full to order more, but we were delighted to see they've got halloumi and lountza in their menu too! Definitely something to eat for next time!
