The Pavilion Kensington Palace

Had the pleasure of experiencing afternoon tea at the Kensington Pavilion, and it was nothing short of exquisite. The selection of teas was vast and flavorful, paired perfectly with an assortment of delicate pastries and sandwiches. The ambiance, with its refined decor, added to the overall charm of the experience. A delightful way to spend an afternoon in Kensington!

This was a fantastic afternoon tea. The service was outstanding from our waiter Chris. His service was prompt and attention to detail was perfect. The tea itself was delicious. The portioning was just right. We had 4 different sandwiches, two scones and three different pieces of patisserie. The prices are very reasonable too. We would definitely visit again.

This spot is an excellent choice for a leisurely afternoon tea in the picturesque Kensington Park. The affordability of the menu pleasantly surprised us, and the scenic view was absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend this place, particularly when the weather is lovely. It's a delightful oasis for enjoying a relaxing tea time amidst nature's beauty. I did taste better mini sandwiches and scones, but it was a nice experience since its the only afternoon I experienced that was outdoor.

The sandwiches and pastries were delicious. The scones are magnificent. Fluffy and slightly warm. Tea was also good. Staff is friendly. The Pavillon it self is nothing special. It would feel cozier if the big room would be a little dressed up with plants or flowers. And I would avoid playing the same instrumental song on repeat.

The table setting, the dishware, and the gorgeous plating makes for some great photo opps - it's just all so pretty! My biggest critique is that we visited August 2023 and it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit that day and there were no fans and no AC. It was unbearably hot in the tent and everyone around us was asking for water for the duration of our afternoon tea. Other than that, this is the only high tea I would recommend for any visitor to London just because of the proximity to my favorite royal residence, Kensington Palace.
