I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Citadel of Erbil in London and I must say, the Iraqi and Middle East cuisine truly exceeded my expectations! The star of the show was undeniably the Hoummos Awarma, which was bursting with flavor and had the perfect texture - smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of chunky. It was undoubtedly one of the best I have ever tried. The mix grill was equally impressive, featuring a juicy and well-seasoned selection of meats that were grilled to perfection. Accompanied by a generous serving of fragrant rice and fresh vegetables, it was a delightful and satisfying meal that left me feeling fully satisfied. But the real standout for me was the Iraqi Dolma. These stuffed grape leaves were absolutely delicious, filled with a tantalizing mixture of rice, vegetables, and savory spices. It was a true delight to savor the unique flavors and texture of this traditional Middle Eastern dish. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of the Citadel of Erbil's Iraqi and Middle Eastern food. The quality of the ingredients and the impeccable preparation truly impressed me, and I cannot wait to come back and try more of their dishes. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply looking for a delicious meal, the Citadel of Erbil is a must-visit spot for anyone interested in the rich and vibrant flavors of Iraqi and Middle Eastern cuisine. If you are looking for a delicious quality and clean food and excellent service from staff then look no further than Citadel of Erbil. The restaurant was previously called Valentino London, the name did change but the staff working there are the same. Tasty middle eastern and Kurdish served cuisine with a great 50% off. The prices are good, especially where the location of the restaurant. You are located at the heart of central London. We ordered Mix kebab with rice. They served us with delicious hot lentil soup, salad and naan bread. The kebab with naan was worth it the taste was great. The food here has and always be fantastic especially now with 50%, you cannot go wrong. The great thing about this restaurant is that it has a menu which is the dessert menu where you can order Kanafeh and other middle eastern sweets. If shisha is your thing, you can order your food to be served outside, they have a patio hanging heater, so can have your meal, dessert and shisha in one spot!.
