Why is lunch so difficult in London? So many restaurants and pubs but a restaurant will often have an overpriced lunch menu, and a pub sandwich can often set you back over £10. With friends in town, I just looked for a local cafe and liked the reviews I read. They were true: large menu and very reasonable prices. We don't frequent coffee shops on account that we don't like coffee and the tea is overpriced. Here, you can get a full English breakfast and a decent cup of tea for £7.50. Excellent service, too. The only downside is that it can't seat more people as I am sure it would always be full.

Great little local place that make simple fresh sandwiches, wraps etc. Also do breakfast but not tried that. Staff genuinely care about servicing tasty food

I've been in London for three days and every day I've stopped here for breakfast. First day was to try out a cheap breakfast, the second is because this is one of the best cafes I've ever been to. Great food, great cooks behind counter, amazing atmosphere. PLEASE do not hesitate if you're in the area.

Very nice place and staff. Strongly recommend this cafe for your breakfast. You will have a peaceful morning in London. Then you can walk to British Museum and enjoy the view of the streets.

I had a great breakfast at Piccolo. The food was tasty, service fast and respectful. I tried a mushroom cheese omelette, wich came with a large portion of fries and salad. Than I finished with a apple banana smoothe. Prices are lowest I ever seen in London. Place is very popular and busy in the morning.

If you are hungry, this is the place.
The breakfast is massive, I asked for the Full English and I was surprised about how much food it was.
The coffee was OK, but other than that I really recommend the food.
The place is simple and small but is one of the few places around Euston that opens on Sunday.

I am so glad I stumbled into this lovely cafe with an even lovelier owner. Without fail, every day I went there I was greeted with a "Hello darling, how are you?" and "see you tomorrow" when I left. Food and coffee was served with so much warmth by Cengiz, the owner, who is one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. He often gave me an extra banana and baklava with my order. The baklava is one of the best i've had. The coffee was also amazing and cheaper than other places. On my last day, he went the extra mile to open his cafe much earlier just so I could get some coffee and food before I left to the airport. Thank you for your kindness Cengiz, I hope to pay you a visit again, someday.

Fourth time in Piccolo. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The breakfast and chicken escalope is to die for. Delicious! The ingredients are always fresh and presentable. The service we received was so amazing. The staff made us feel welcomed and they truly care about your experience. Very affordable too! Hidden gem. We will definitely be back again.
