Bears Ice Cream Company

I go to the Brook Green pavilion almost every day. The staff are great but a special shoutout to John the manager. He spends so much time and consideration talking the kids through all the many options to go on top of the soft scoop ice cream. Sadly I’m diabetic so I can just watch but the cheese croissants are a major stopping point on my daily walk. And I had the pleasure of meeting Vera the other day - good luck with the new Whitstable shop.

Ever since the Bears Ice cream company opened in Brook Green it has been an absolute joy. They sell Scotties coffee which is absolutely delicious, iced coffee, affogato & tasty sourdough toasties. Freshly baked cookies, muffins and pastries are the ideal treat with your tea or coffee and saving the best for last, the ice cream. You can create your own or try their absolute madness mix of toppings and it is just scrumptious. They also sell tubs of ice cream too and they have some interesting flavours. The staff are always polite, helpful and friendly. It can get quite busy when the schools finish and there is a queue of people and kids waiting to be served but it is worth the wait as you get that personal service. They have lots of seating outside which is a bonus on those sunny days and they have the canopy if it starts to rain. I would highly recommend this place.

Talk about high quality. This is the best cafe experience I’ve had in a park cafe. The hot chocolate was incredible/ the cheese and bread of the cheese toastie were also high quality. We had a date and pistachio brownie as well. Just perfect. Nothing was ‘too much’ - great experience. We’re not from the area but will be back when we are.
