Josephine's Filipino Restaurant

One of the best pork bellies in London, crispy, juicy, fatty, tasty. I didn't like the original sauce it came with so they kindly offered me a peanut butter based sauce, which was amazing. The dish is not cheap, £15, but you get so much meat it's hard to finish it all. Super friendly staff and great location.

The best Filipino / Asian fusion resto we tried in London. Everything is authentic. Food was excellent and superb. Lechon kawali is a must try. Only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is its dated ambience and a damp smell in its premises. A dehumidifier will do wonders. If you miss Filipino food, you must visit this restaurant.

We were craving Pinoy food and we found this place. Liked the addition of sweet potato in the Bulalo(perfect for the London weather), and especially loved that the sisig came in an actual sizzling plate(most places skip that), and oof the crispy pata was 👌👌👌👌. They also had Red horse which was the cherry on top. The owners were super nice too. Would recommend.

I have been here 4 or 5 times over the past 10 years ( much not living in London thats why so seldom). I have searched for a varied and exetensive reasonably authentic Philippine menu, and frankly it barely exists in London. The variety and quality of food here is excellent. I have great respect for the host couple. They've been doing this over 20 years and the mixed reviews may be because some days they seem a bit tired. Maybe they could do with some fresh energy and capital for decor, but make no mistake they still offer great Filipino food in north edge of Soho London. Not sure if the location quite justifies the prices. I love Sinigang soup. Plan to add a few more specific recommendations after more visits.
