280 Degrees African Restaurant & Bar

As a Jamaican, this was my first experience of dining out in a Nigerian restaurant. It was a surprise treat from my son and Nigerian daughter in law. I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience as we entered the restaurant. The decor was nice and the place looked and smelled clean. The DJ was playing upbeat music and the vibes felt good. The food was well presented with good portion sizes. The peppered fish, fried yam and plantain was delicious. The oxtail tasted a little tough. The food tasted freshly cooked although it took a while before it was on the table. There seemed to be a lot of Nigerian customers eating in and also coming and going for take outs. The owner greeted us at the table and seemed very pleasant and interested in making sure that we were enjoying the experience. I was not responsible for the bill so I am unable to comment on value for money. However, as an eating experience and customer service, I will definitely go back. Well done 180 Degrees. Keep on doing well but look to improve where you see any negative reviews. It's all about the customer experience. All the best!
