Papa Johns Pizza

I've been to many different pizza places, both fast food and restaraunts, but this Papa Johns was nuts. Pretty God level pizza, and everything tasted great. Wasn't oily or greasy, and the garlic bread sticks were great. Dipping sauces were great too. Unfortunately the tater tots were a bit soggy, but its a pizza place after all, not a chips shop.

The chicken topping on the pizza from Docklands East India Dock road is halal. Open till 4am Friday and Saturday nights. Rest of the evenings are until 2am but don't expect to order after 1.30am as they declined to take orders. Thats my personal experience. Whats not to like about the food, its tasty. No two pizzas are the same as the dough is hand rolled out in front of the full view of customers. Its clean as well.

Had "The Works" pizza and have to say, it was quite all right. Can't award five stars as the garlic sauce was disgusting and looked like some yellow chemical, and tasted like it as well. Not sure who thought this is acceptable, clearly they have dubious taste buds! But I enjoyed my pizza. Good friendly service, didn't have to wait long. Unbelievable price difference between collecting from the store versus home delivery, so it's well worth collecting if you can.

Brilliant Papa John's with great service. Very prompt delivery and great communication. They were late with a pizza on one occasion and let me have a free pizza on my next order. Try the vegan pizza's , they are delicious. Made with the good type of cheese and Papa John's doe is exquisite. Definitely worth a try. 5 stars well deserved. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Really nice pizza, high standard hygienic, really nice to see them preparing it. Prompt as soon as you arrive and transparent regarding the princing ! I came after a really bad experience next door from Pizza Hut (I invite you to read my experience), and I am glad !! Coming from a bad experience, became a good one thanks to Papa Johns 👍🏼 And I can add they are not greasy and the packaging super nice !

Update: Upon writing this review, Papa Johns got in touch and made me another pizza...Was definitely 100% better. My pregnant wife's cravings have all gone...for now!...The delivery was on time as was before and was a very nice delivery driver. The customer service was great. Very happy customer! ################################################### I found the pizza base to be quite soggy and rubbery. I'm pretty sure I've had Papa Johns pizza before and it didn't taste this bad. I'm not sure if it's this branch or a change in recipe. There was no crust to the pizza and was difficult to chew. The tomato sauce looked like it was added after the pizza was baked and was falling off, along with other ingredients like the sweetcorn. Felt more like it was added after instead of baked with it. Furthermore I found the pineapple to not be as sweet and fresh and other competitors. The delivery time was fine for me and the guy who delivered was very nice.
