Bronzed Aussie

Ordered takeout from here while craving meat pies and was NOT disappointed. We are dairy free so were thrilled to find out the puff pastry is vegan - I couldn't tell because everything was flaky and crisp. The fillings were all delicious, and it was reasonably priced. Would give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could. So happy to have found a new favorite spot!

The quality is excellent as are the flavor and texture. It was an opportunity to try something new and I enjoyed the lamb pie (with rosemary) which I found to be more satisfying than the ground beef pie. The quantity is less than I'd expect for the price. I'd buy again to try other flavors when I am able to splurge. Online ordering is easy and my order was ready to pick up on time.

These Australian meat pies are awesome!! Sam the owner is such a nice lady. I miss her hugs. We moved out of state. I miss her and her food!! Her pie crusts are flaky, buttery, melt in your mouth and her meat filling has a fantastic tomato sauce. She makes these Anzac biscuit bars with a layer of caramel and a layer of chocolate. Super yum. Fluffy lamingtons, cakes rolled in chocolate and coconut. Sausage rolls and minced meat pies are tasty for breakfast, lunch, any time. She has frozen pies you can take away and bake later. And EXCELLENT coffee!! If you've ever visited Australia/New Zealand and had a taste of their coffee culture, you know how good it is!! We love you Sam!!

Great meat pies and vegetarian options too. The lamingtons are my favorite of their sweets. It's a lovely, quiet and safe spot to grab a bite, I usually go by myself because it's so small and in a residential area. I am not a fan of their coffee but that's ok because there is a great coffee shop nearby. If I know I'm going home straight after or I have a cooler with me I always buy their frozen pies to heat up at home. my only issue is with the service, sometimes the lady behind the counter can be a little short but that's probably because they only staff with one person.
