We had a great experience dining here while visiting Macon. The restaurant is nice inside and has a lot of outdoor seating which was a welcome option since the weather was great the day we came. Our server was very friendly and suggested good alternatives when we found out they were out of gator tail. We will definitely have to come back and give it a try next time!

From open till close food quality should not change, not sure what type of fish they use for the fish and Chips, or fish basket. It is not a good fish, very mild in favor with a flaky white meat that Immulate's Codfish without the good sweet taste of Cod. The staff in this place are absolutely 💯 as far as professionalism, the environment is very calming. And I have to honestly say the fish was very salty for some particular reason.. I hope that is a result of there's a result of us getting there so Late and placing orders. They have changed up the inside of this place a tad bit since my last visit which is about 9 months ago I'm months ago if not a little bit longer.

Today was my first time visiting. I was super excited to try the food. We were greeted immediately and seated. The server Susan walked over got our drink order. Then our real server comes inside from smoking her cigarette and swiftly seat at the table with us. Hands all over the table... Absolutely I have a problem with this. I requested the woman who came to us first to continue serving us. We sat for a while waiting for her to return. Finally I just got up and asked someone to inform her we were ready to order. The seafood dip was delicious. The Shrimp Cajun pasta came piping hot and was very tasty. The Chicken Cajun Pasta I ordered came a little cool. It took a super long time for her to come back and see if everything was okay. While sitting waiting for things to happen an employee shows up for work. He quickly get prepared for his shift. A few minutes go by and then he sit down to eat. He goes from eating to seating people and digs in his ear and never washes his hands or use hand sanitizer. The servers aren't attentive enough. The food was great everything else was horrible. I was convinced to try them again because I was looking at this place with a server eye and not a regular patron. With a new start and open mind, I gave a it a real chance. The service was okay, I could tell he was a new server. He did his best to answer questions and if he didn't know he found out and I appreciate that. Definitely worked well with small kids and made them feel important. I'm just going to say I am not a big fan of their menu options. Some of the ingredients the kitchen went way too heavy on. Helpful tip, just because someone doesn't want something does not mean load their plate up with garnish or go heavy on another ingredient. Too much ruins the dish. The apps were good and hot, no complaints there.

The food was great, but the service left something to be desired. We had three appetizers - egg rolls, gator bites and fried green tomatoes. First strike on service. Took way too long. The fried green tomatoes were excellent. Egg rolls had a Tex-mex flavor. My friend had the gator bites and said they were good. For entrée,, I had a fancy grilled cheese and veggie gumbo. Strike two on service. We had finished the appetizers for awhile when my soup and sandwich finally came. The food was excellent. I don't know if it was our server or the kitchen, but timing on the whole meal was slow. Our server was very pleasant, but pleasant doesn't cut it if service is abysmally slow. Recommended with some reservations.

Was very excited about this restaurant. Started off with delicious lemon drop shots. Bartender John was very precise and professional. Tried the crab cakes appetizer, it had a lot of breading and fried a bit too much. Had the gumbo soup, I could taste the spices, but it came out cold. Not too pleased with the seafood dip either. The seafood was minced and it was very salty. Entrees came to mixed reviews. The mussels on pasta were very tasty and came with plenty of mussels. The Cajun chicken pasta was bland, did not have that cajun spice I was looking for. Staff was very friendly, from the cooks to the host.
