The food was amazing but the service on the other hand was absolutely TERRIBLE!! He had an attitude from the moment I walked in. Got an attitude because I wanted to sit at the bar and eat instead of a table. He assisted everyone else except me. I was there first but he wouldn't serve me until everyone else was taken care of. Criticized me for getting an drink instead of a beer. I just did not feel welcomed at all and I most likely will not be back. He had a red sweater with glasses and a nearly bald head. Lisa is a TERRIBLE server. The absolute worst. Not only that, she is a druggy and tells people sob stories to try to get a bigger tip to feed her addictions. All she does is complain about her customers and about the people she works with. She does her best to get her coworkers in trouble. She’s very rude and disrespectful. Worst server we’ve ever had. Now, Emily on the other hand is a ABSOLUTE FANTASTIC SERVER!! She ALWAYS gets our order correct, is very social and we don’t have to ask multiple times for things to be done. Definitely the best we have at any restaurant. Also let it be known that the food here is phenomenal.

I know we are in the South but the treatment my party and I received is ridiculous. We had reservations for 7:00 p.m. after waiting 40 minutes (7:40) 2 parties who came in after our party were seated. I guess this Japanese establishment doesn't realize that green USD spends the same regardless of your ethnicity. The gentleman (and I'm using this term very losely) who was in charge of seating guest. Miscounted our group twice. When I eventually had to count out loud for him. Mismanaged seating on your part should not your attitude towards my party. If you do not like your job or can not handle the stress of your job, find another one. Now it's 8:45 p.m. yes, nearly two after we arrived and an hour of sitting there. The grill isn't working and we watched 5 groups who were seated after us, get waited on with the personal chef. At this point I ask for the manager. Now it's 9:15 pm. No food, No chef. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have never in my life waited so long for service. The waitress (Emily) was very nice and cordial during the visit. She apologized at least 10 times. I told her it wasn't her fault.
