Freddy's

Most of the reviews look good, but I sure don’t see why unless nasty is an acquired taste. Usually I’m not very picky after 10 hours on the road with nothing to eat. But I just slung the better part of 15 bucks in the parking lot. I could have changed the oil in the truck with the grease in this nasty greasy oily mess. Got the triple with cheese curds. The curds were like eating balls of Wesson oil. The bun on the burger was saturated and soggy oil soaked from the bacon and hamburger. The only thing I got for 15 bucks was a glass of tea that was pretty good and the hamburger after I blotted a handful of napkins with the oil out of the burger. I’ll probably regret eating that after the oily mess wants to make a fast exit 50 miles down the highway. Get the tea but leave the rest of it there. Yuck !!! Update….. made it less than 50 miles down the highway till stomach cramps started, then spent way, way too long in a couple truck stop bathroom stalls. If you’ve ever had to prep for a colonoscopy and taken 2 ducolax followed by 8 ounces of miralax and know that experience, fast Freddie’s is like 6 ducolax with 24 ounces of miralax. OMG…..Avoid this nasty greasy place !!!

The food we actually received was okay but the last two times they didn't give us the entire kids meal. Just the fries. I told them the order was to go and I was ignored, then they had an attitude about packing it for me when i reiterated that it was to go, and when I tried to call to see what can be done to correct it they flat didn't answer the phone. Horrible customer service and wouldn't recommend if you actually want all the food you pay for, which is a little pricier than most fast food.

Love the food, but not too impressed by the custard desserts. Always ate at Freddy's when visiting the in-laws in Idaho. The shoestring seasoned fries are so good and the steak burger is so yummy. But we weren't too impressed with the custard desserts. My spouse ordered a chocolate malt milkshake - they made it twice and it wasn't good either time. I ordered a chocolate concrete with mixins - one of the mixins was mixed at all - it was just sitting at the bottom. Overall, I would say go here for food, then go to Dairy Queen for dessert.
