Long John Silver's

I had not had eaten at a Long John Silver's establishment since I was a child so I was really excited to try this place out. I didn't know that there was a location in Macon or that the chain still existed. I was passing through and notice the sign so of course I stopped. It was late in the evening and area itself seemed pretty sketchy. I walked into the restuarant and it didn't look the cleanest upon entering. The floor was sticky and the condiment area was dirty. No worries, I had no plans of sitting and eating. The staff was very friendly. I ordered my childhood favorite, the chicken and fish meal. The food came out fast and hot and they made sure I had all of the condiments needed. The food smelled amazing. When I finally got home to eat, the food was still hot which was great. Everything tasted amazing and well seasoned. The corn and the green beans were delicious as well. I was shocked at how fresh and tasty it was. I may not ever go out of my way to visit just because I'm located nowhere near the place but if I'm ever near or passing through, I would definitely stop in again.

Never ate. Went into the location people in the back where cutting up and joking around did not even acknowledge us in the store even when they seen us they continued on there private conversation and ignore us. We gave it a few minutes then made eye contact with the employees which did nothing. They continued there private conversation and ignored us. We left this is one location I will not be back. Plus the floors are dirty tables had stuff on them. Maybe this location needs new management or something. They need a new crew.

If you dont mind waiting and waiting and waiting for your order, then this is definitely the place for you l. I love there food, but only come 3 times a year or less because of the slooooooooooow service. Drive thru takes 25 min and hopefully there are not any cars ahead of you, if so, order 2 meals and sell one to the guy behind you.

the females are not really nice, to the females thats making the order , the females talk better to the males, when they order but when the female order , They don't talk so friendly. The reason I say this is because I was placing an order for food and the female that was taken my order acted like she did not like me, she had an attitude and you can hear it in her voice. I rate it one star because some of my food were cold.

Almost nostalgic now to me, sometimes I stop just for the taste. For whatever reason, it may take a long time to get the food. Its still greasy, you can see it on the cruchies, no doubt. This is not healthy eating, its a comfort food that tastes the same for decades now. For the overly breaded shrimp, there's good slaw and hush puppies to make up for it.
