Mcdonald's

Unfortunately service at this location has declined in quality since my original post some time ago. Two employees looked at my receipt and took it "higher up". The resolution was a quick shout over the shoulder from a manager who said the prices have been updated. The problem is the bundles went from $3.50 to $3.99 in 4 days. The big menu board still proclaimed $3.50. I said that the big menu board still stated $3.50. Then the same guy who shot an over the shoulder response about the prices then shouted over his shoulder that the big board takes time to update! Interesting how the register can update and how the small physical board with the price and small numbers can be updated but not the big menu board. Sounds like bait and switch. I will take it up with corporate but I will not be returning.

Disappointing that the All Day Breakfast is no longer an option (and its unclear if it's just this location or multiple ones due to the pandemic) but I literally went for a breakfast McGriddle meal in the afternoon. And again, that's not their "fault", but it was disappointing as I REALLY had a taste for breakfast. But the service was pleasant & the store was cleaned (Bonus: AND they got my order correct-lol)

Ordered at the drive thru. Paid at first window then drove up to pick up order at the second window only to be told that my order was erased off their screens inside the restaurant and that my receipt was needed to insure I receive the correct order. Handed it back, no questions asked, and parked in a reserved area where I was instructed to do so. Waited nearly 15 minutes in my car for the order. Went inside and asked for the food I paid for but come to find out that there was no food waiting for me nor the receipt I handed back to the young man at the last window. Explained to a store manager my problem while the employee who took my receipt stood back listening without bothering to admit the mistake he made. Eventually I was offered a refund but even then this McDonald's shorted me on the change I was owed. Lots of staff working most of which seem incompetent at doing their job.

The old manager was a very polite, elderly man that used to make sure everything was perfect. He ran a very tight ship. Sadly, I haven't seem him in a few months. If he has retired, I wish him the best but this McDonald's is an absolute mess ever since he left. The ice machine has been inoperable for weeks, sticky soda everywhere, rude workers; just your average, trashy Middletown fast-food spot now, nothing like it used to be. Edit: It's getting back to normal. Another old man is the manager now and seems to be doing a great job. The current staff is wonderful as well. Ice machine is still down but what are you gonna do I guess 😄
