Arby's

This drive-thru is open until 1am. I arrived at 1030pm and was told over the speaker to "hold on." I waited for 5 minutes at the speaker with no response and then pulled to the pickup window. I watched the employees moving around inside. An employee came to the window after 11pm and told me they were only taking door dash orders. I watched the customers behind me order and receive their food. I spoke to them and they told me that they were not picking up door dash orders. The people operating this restaurant do not care about you or your support of their livelihood. I would venture to say neither do they care about the owner who pays them. Unacceptable.

Well usually it's fine but this was the third time in 6 months@ (and I don't go often) that they have closed the store while I was in line, at least thirty min before they were scheduled to close. All three of those times I was in line for a considerable amount of time before being told they were closed. Don't get me wrong, I work the window at a restaurant, those long nights, when you're short handed, and almost out of product because the truck didn't come, because they too are short handed, you think you're about to catch a break because closing time is getting close, but here comes another 3 cars...... and the worst part is that you opened, and you have to open in the morning.....so I get it. Many days I've wanted every one to just go home and cook. So honestly if it had been once, I wouldn't even mention it. Or even twice over a longer time span, but three in 6 months. Seems to be a habit. It's frustrating.

Their boneless wings and fries are definitely in the competition with Zaxby's on taste and cost for me. These items take longer to cook than other items on the menu. I appreciate the "made to order" taste and temperature, which understandably would increase the wait time. On this particular visit, there was an apparent staff shortage, just as there is at most places. Management was very accommodating, even with the staff shortage. The fries could have been cooked a tad bit longer. Otherwise, I hope that this is not a temporary item and that the price remains comparable to the present price.
