Purchased 3 red velvet cakes from a local NY supermarket, HORRIBLE/HORRENDOUS...DISGUSTING...Taste nothing like a true red velvet cake... STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND...TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.... I've been eating these red velvet cakes for over 22 years and this bakery is definitely the worst ever...very disappointing, as I sat down with a scoop of ice cream to enjoy and savor the taste...it was totally undesirable. I'm giving it ten thumbs down👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎.

What happened to these formerly delicious cookies. We have been buying them at an independent grocer in Goldsboro, NC for 10-12 years.They have always been a special treat because they are a bit expensive but a reminder of cookies from NY-NJ area. We bought some this week and had to throw them away. They were fresh but had no taste and to make it worse the oil or shortening used left a disgusting film in your mouth. I hope it was a bad batch but doubt that we will ever waste our money on them again. This past batch was dated to expire May 2021. We never throw cookies away so you might guess just how awful these were. So sad to see another fine product cheapened and ruined. I suggest that they rehire the quality inspection team and dig out the old recipe.
