Gami Chicken & Beer

Soggy tteokbokki! DOES NOT BRING ME JOY! It's like I ordered Shin Ramen and just chuck the rice cakes in. Good chicken and sauce. The only saving grace from having a one star. The seafood pancake was flat. By flat I mean, where's the seafood. Still a bit soggy and missing the crunch. And the prawns are the cheap stuff, it is like the size of my fingernails. Maybe Gami expanded too quickly

I have been ordering food from Gami Fountain Gate for several times now, because it was the closest from my home in dandy. My wife and I always order the chicken (best dish), Seafood Pancake, Japcae and Tbokki. So far, it was the best. But yesterday was really terrible. The Seafood Pancake was very oily and the taste is sour. Maybe the pancake batter was gone bad or forgot to be put in the fridge. We really disappointed with that. I hope Gami Chicken do quality Control on their food. BE BETTER, NOT WORST.

I always been big fan of their food but yesterday I was really disappointed ☹️ the rice cake in tteokbokki was so giant was hard to chew and we order chicken where we supposed to get coleslaw as side dish but they said they dont have any and 5 min later the table next to us got the coleslaw with chicken which really surprised me, seriously 😒 they just lied or they were just too lazy to make it. Not going again.

I’ve been to Gami a few times in previous years and was usually impressed. However, this branch in Fountain Gate wasn’t the best. The food is a hit or miss: the soup dishes were not great at all, and the corn cheese was overly sweet. But their fried chicken as always, was their best dish. Additionally, staff were polite and the ambience was nice, but they completely forgot one of our orders (and also one of the orders of the table next to us). Perhaps it was just one of their bad days, but I’d think twice before coming to this particular branch again.
