Blue Door Kiosk

My favorite place for cup of coffee while I am spending time on the beach. Easy access and friendly staff. Only issue would be a speed. It takes some time to receive my order. Have been their customer for a while now and coffee is really good. There is also place to sit near by and enjoy the ocean view. Great for quick bite stop or when you take your pets out for walk to have short break. Parking also available.

The view is usually really nice, today it was a bit cloudy but their were sitting plenty of people. This Cafe has great food and drinks, they also have seats overlooking the beach both undercover and in the sun. Fair warning there is plenty of dogs, people in swimsuits, and lots of kids. So be mindful about that. Also this Cafe is one where you go to them, they don't come to you with a menu. Overall the experience is great regardless of the weather.

The queues here on a weekend indicate some great products sold here with some having a hefty price attachment. After visiting a few times now, the cause of the queue is the customer, the more mature customers I’ve noticed whom don’t make their decision of what to order prior to getting to the start of the queue. If you visit this business, read the menu first, make your selections then join the queue because your ignorance just delays everyone else and if you’re not buying, don’t sit at the tables to read your book.

Terrible service. I use to go to Blue Door all the time as i live a few mins walk away. Over the many years ive been a customer, the service has gone completely downhill. Today i ordered a coffee through the app which they promote to use. 10mins later no coffee. I can see its quite busy so i wait until 20mins. I received the text to say its ready, but no coffee. I asked the girl making the coffees if she had one for Chloe. She said it would be a bit of a wait as they are busy. I said ive waited 20mins already and i got a text to say it was ready. She said she would make it. Another 10mins went by & still no coffee as i watch all the people who came after me get theres. I asked one of them how long they waited, in which they replied “about 10mins, i ordered through the app”. Interesting…. I approached the counter again and said its now been 30mins for a coffee, and the girl very abruptly asked me what i ordered. It was made it a couple of mins and i got a reluctant sorry, thats it. This is what Blue Door has come to. Very sad as i love it down there on the beach. I wouldnt be writing this review if it was just the once. Their service is not good. Something needs to change.
