Applebee's

I'd have to say I'm in the middle but I don't believe it's the restaurants fault. The north Conway area is hit and miss with jobs. I know that Applebee's has been shorthanded as far as staff goes which is why I'm not blaming the restaurant at all. We waited for about 40 minutes to be seated and upon being seated we were greeted immediately by our server. Our order was put in quickly and our food came out in a timely manner. Our appetizer and dinner came out close together and a server went above and beyond to rectify the situation there. The food is good and the service is great. It's just unfortunate that more people don't want to work here. I believe it's a good opportunity.

The restaurant wasn’t busy so we were seated immediately and our drinks order was taken. When she came back our waitress took our food order which was delivered reasonably quickly. If there was anything negative I would say the restaurant was pretty cold where we were seated and as the weather is getting colder it may be an idea to put the heating up a little. Other than that everything else was good.

Our nachos were good, and broccoli tasty. What I would like to say is what a nice guy, Joseph, who brought our food to the pickup area outside. He delivered it with a smile and thanked me. I wish I had tipped more, I mistakenly did 15% online. Sorry 😞 What I do hope is that Joseph gets recognized. Hmm... I could call the manager, I suppose. Being from a big city. Boston, you hardly get good service with a smile. They need to take lessons from Joseph. We will be back when in town. Thank you! Michelle

I typically steer clear of chain restaurants, but Applebee's managed to win me over for one simple reason: its extended hours that outshine any other eatery in the area. Now, while I might not be shouting from the rooftops about the culinary genius at play here, I can't deny that the food at Applebee's holds its own. The menu offers a medley of options that do satisfy cravings, especially when it's the sole dining choice at that hour. From classic comfort foods to a variety of appetizers, it's clear that the kitchen is striving to cater to a range of tastes. The restaurant's role as a late-night refuge is where it truly shines. Sometimes, all you need is a place that welcomes you with open arms when others have long closed their doors. It's a haven for those moments when convenience and availability trump the quest for gourmet dining. So, if you're like me and typically lean away from chain restaurants, Applebee's might surprise you as a dependable late-night option. While it may not be a gastronomic revelation, it fills a unique niche by providing sustenance when others are asleep at the wheel. Sometimes, that's exactly what you need to hit the spot in the wee hours.

Let me start by saying that the food was very tasty. I had the neighborhood burger, which has 2 thin patties and the next step up from no cheese. So thin that when melted, you could hardly find it. The burger patties can only be cooked to a medium or darker. No pink. I also paid to upgrade from french fried to onion rings. That gave me 5 rings. Very disappointing. Also, I ordered iced coffee. I suspect that is not a regular item on the menu, and they took hot coffee and poured it over ice, giving you a glass of coffee flavored water. YUK! My wife and her mother shared the appetizer combo and found it very good. They ordered a side of french fries and got a plate that would feed 4 people....big contrast.

Went here late night while on vacation in North Conway. It was open till midnight. We went around 9 PM and it wasn't busy at all. They have half price appetizers after 9 PM. What a bargain! In addition they have some specialty drinks also. We didn't even notice the special menu until our bill came and realized that we had ordered some of them. The food was good, standard Applebee's food. The service was excellent, they waited on us very quickly and was polite and and perfect. 5 of us went and we were all happy with our meals. No complaints.
