Glory Bound Gyro Co

Return visit to Glory Bound Gyro Co. In Ocean Springs, MS. This time we were able to sit in their outdoor courtyard! Only good things to say! Great setting, Our server was top shelf! The drinks were generous, the food was served super fast and everything was prepared very well. The Seared Ahi appetizer was excellent, the Gyros were 5 star and then we ordered a pizza to go that was old school homestyle…! From now on when I think of Dining in Ocean Springs this will be the picture I won’t forget. Great stuff!

We had brunch there for the first time today. Food was super clean tasting and full of flavor. We got the gyro plate with beef/lamb. We ordered a few different drinks and are outside at the bar. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and affordable prices. We'd like to come back to try a gyro and side of specialty hummus.

Solid five stars, and I don't give those out easily. We enjoyed our walk to the restaurant and loved the sport bar type atmosphere. Plenty of fresh air and well maintained. We heard about this place from a lady all the way in Gautier and she said that we had to try the pizza. She was TOTALLY right. Danielle, our server, was spot on with the suggestions. We ordered the pizza and she asked if we wanted onions on there (even though they are on the menu). This cued me to actually ask for half and half.. which was an excellent thing. Then Danielle, asked us if we wanted ranch dressing as well. I never even thought of that, and turns out it was an excellent suggestion. The pizza was absolutely fabulous. The place you to be a pizza place with a fire oven, so they just kept on serving pizzas. I am anxious to actually try the gyros next time, because our pizza was out of this world delicious! Beautiful day, and nice atmosphere. Lot's of TV's for sports.

The best pizza I have ever tasted. We had no idea a Greek food place would serve such magnificent pizza, but we were told by the receptionist at Shepard State Park that we must try it. I am so glad that we did. My husband and I split one Funky Meaters Pizza for lunch. The crust was crispy, the toppings were plentiful and the flavor was exceptional. The waitress suggested ranch dressing and that pushed the flavor-meter over the top! Our waitress also told us the building used for Glory Bound in Ocean Springs was once a pizza place, so they kept the pizza ovens and added pizza to the menu. If you ever are in the area, this pizza is a MUST try. We will definitely be back.

Really liked this place. Staff was very friendly and happy to serve. We sat at the bar, watched the litlle league world series and watched the very skilled young lady chef hand make pizza kneading and assembling from scratch and cooking right there in the brick oven. She even gave the classic dough toss to entertain :-) Clean place with an amazing multiple bar live music outdoor space. Food looked great. Can't wait to come back.
