Margarita's Mexican Restaurant

The food is always good, we are never disappointed. We always have a nice experience but this last one took the cake! Our waitress Luisa was so sweet. Not only did she smile EVERY TIME she was asked to grab another item which for some reason was way too often this visit. (sorry!) but at the last minute we mention something about our daughters birthday (had forgotten to earlier) and even though I am sure she is ready to almost have a table free (as we had our check already) she still went through with the whole process and making sure her birthday was recognized! We always have a good experience but this one was great! Thank you.

Great food! Excellent service! Competitive prices. This is a great place for a family event or for a date night. We were a table of eight and we were seated immediately even though we did not have a reservation. The wait staff did a great job of giving us plenty of chips and salsa and keeping our beverage glasses full.

Mexican restaurant that has nice decor and polite staff. We found issues with our chosen entrees though. On our first visit the food was lacking but everything else was generally fine so I would go back if I was in the area to try something else and hope for something I enjoyed more. As soon as we were seated we were offered beverages and served free chips and salsa. Seafood chimichanga 3.25 stars The filling had too much Pollock (fake crab) where it wasn't balanced with the shrimp and it wasn't saucy enough for me. The sauce was more congealed on top. The sauce itself tasted fine and the sides were actual good rating it a minimum of 4 stars but the actual chimichanga I didn't really enjoy. It was kinda there. The carne ASADA meat my friend ordered was over cooked and dry. The flavor was fine. It was another 3 starish item for us. Prices were fair and in line for the area. There was not much offered for Fresca, but it did have the tamarind, Jamaica and horchata drinks. Parking is free and available in a medium sized lot shared by a few other businesses.

Met my husband for lunch here and had a good experience. I opted to try something new so I went with the lunch portion Pollo Loco. The chicken was marinated very nicely, and the sautéed onions added the perfect addition. Of course you can’t go wrong with queso on the chicken and rice either. The lunch portion was very reasonably priced for the large portion of food I received. Our server was sporadic on checking on us, and we had to ask for napkins, refills, and packing containers a few times. From what I could tell the restaurant appeared clean, and our table supplies were well stocked.

First time here, and it will not be our last. The bean dip was so good but you can save your money. Because they give you chips and salsa when you are first seated, that was delicious. My chicken burritos were very good, but my hubby's chicken enchiladas were fire. We very much enjoyed this surprise dinner location.

First time trying this with my mom. I’ve been in Omaha my whole life and would pass this place many times. Raul was are server and he was very helpful. He told us everything that was popular here and suggested foods we enjoy. They offer free chips and salsa for the table. We ordered the ‘Mangonada Margarita’ that was a mango blended margarita with Tajin on top and along the rim. My mom ordered the ‘Burrito Loco’ that has a mix of steak and chicken along with beans inside. Shrimp and avocado on top, drizzled in a queso cheese sauce. I had the ‘Steak Burritos’ smothered in queso with a side of rice and beans. Finally, finished it all off with the fried ice cream. All the food was incredible, with a great atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back!

This evening we tried Margaritas off 72nd & L for the first time. Glad we did, it was very good. We had one gold margarita and then the flight with Raspberry, peach, watermelon strawberry. They were all good. We ordered the fajitas, A Ranchero Combo with a beef enchilada instead of cheese and a tamale on the side. I’ve never had a tamale with enchilada sauce but it was very good. Everything was cooked to perfection. I asked the waiter if their horchata was made in house or ordered in. He explained tjey make it in house and brought a small cup to try it. It was one of the best horchatas I’ve had as well. We’ll definitely go back.
