Down home country cooking. The real deal. The place is a bit run down but somehow that's more fitting for this kind of food. Nothing fancy, but as close as you'll get to home cooking. Cornbread was amazing, as were the mashed potatoes.

Mama Jo has the best fried chicken that you will ever eat. This food is like your grandmother cooked. Down home killer southern cooking. God bless her and God bless her good cooking. I can’t wait to eat there again!!!!

Some of “The Best” food you’ll find here. And A word of advice.... You’ve got to get at least 2 fried cornbread patties. You CAN’T stop at 1.

Freaking amazing! The hot sauce and sweet potato pie is bussin, fried chicken da bomb. I can't wait to go there for breakfast. One of the best restaurants in Oxford!
