Rubio's

First time we've been to this place. Our grandkids had won coupons from the Glendale summer reading program for chips and guac so we took them. They got kids meals of tacos, beans, drink and a small churo. They liked everything even though they couldn't finish all of it. 😋 I had a fish taco platter which was on special on Tuesdays. Fish was nicely cooked and tasty. I guess the platter just got me chips too. Did not care for them at all as I thought they were too thick and heavy tasting. I prefer a light, crispy chip. Overall I think we would consider trying their taco Tuesday specials me time we're in the mood as opposed to Cafe Rio across the street.

Good food. Great team. Prices are high. Casual fast food and take out food prices are in many cases exceeding prices for a sit down restaurant more and more commonly, this is no exception. My advice, go when they have specials or deals, otherwise a family of 4 (no alcohol, and two kids meals) for a quick bite was $60.🤔

10/10 would recommend! I love that my food is always fresh and delicious. The super friendly staff is an added bonus to a great meal. I have never seen a General Manager work alongside their employees in a way that Thomas does. He sets a great example of teamwork by serving the customers along with his team. Stop by and experience the positive atmosphere for yourself! 😊

I've been here a few times and have not been disappointed yet. The shrimp tacos are the best thing we've had although we did try the lobster when it was on special and it was just mediocre. IMHO, I think the Mexican corn street taco and Verde shrimp taco plates are the best thing on the menu. The ingredients are always fresh and the plates are a solid value. The beans act as a great dip for the chips!
