After taking a trip to Relics, my friend and I were hungry and stopped by Lee’s!
I’ve had a friend or two say Lee’s is good, so after browsing some cool gifts, we walked next door to grab some grub. Now, I believe I ordered some chicken fried rice and it was pretty decent. A ‘4’ in my book is pretty good. I do think the rice was a bit dry, but overall it was pretty good. Not any better than your typical ‘hole in the wall’ Chinese restaurant, but not terrible.
My friend really enjoyed his meal. So if you are hungry for Chinese, Lee’s is one of may pretty good choices to pick from in Peoria, IL. Though if you aren’t from Central Illinois, I am going to wonder why you are here…

I have gone here a few times, and plan on being a lifelong customer! Today I got a to-go order, and the woman taking my order was kind, attentive, made sure to accommodate my substitutions, and gave us extra fortune cookies! The food was fresh, DELICIOUS, and they gave us very generous servings. Would recommend to a friend/my mom/a stranger on the street.

Lee's has the very best hot sour soup I have eaten anywhere. Mrs. Lee is very friendly and attentive. especially if you go there frequently and they recognize you they take very good care of you throwing an extra appetizers and soups. You always get your money's worth and more. I love their Crispy Chicken special.

Since my local favorite Chinese restaurant was sold (and menu changed), I have been on a quest for Chinese food that is as good as Mr. Quon used to serve. Lee's is our new favorite in the Peoria area. The food was amazing. The sauces have a deep flavor and the prices are great too. It may not look like much from the outside, but is a hidden treasure.

The prices were fair, but I do want to complain about the food I got.
I ordered General Tso's chicken and asked for the spicy version. They tasted like boneless chicken wings with a tad of some sweet sauce on them. They definitely weren't spicy, but my egg roll and fried rice was delicious!

The Moo Goo Gai Pan is excellent and I have it once a month or so. The lady up front speaks poor English but she tries and I enjoy talking with her. I would recommend their food to anyone.

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. They demanded we come immediately to pick it up since they were closing soon even though they were still open for another hour. The chicken fried rice meat was GREY in color! I really question source of this "chicken." The sesame chicken was very dried out and had bad flavor. The crab rangoon was fresh. Go to China Express it's infinitely better.
