Had a really lovely time here. Our appetizers were great, we got the kale salad and the winter squash soup. I wasn't expecting the soup to be SOO flavorful. Our pizza was good and our rice pudding desert was amazing.

By far my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. This is not a traditional pizzeria, though the pizzas are authentic in a creative way. The pizza is thin crust, there are usually 5-6 different types on the menu, which changes daily. Ingredients are of the highest quality, always seasonal. The appetizers are wonderful, always fresh and a great companion to the pizzas. Lots of vegetarian options. The wine list is short but very well curated and extremely well priced. They also serve the best rice pudding I have ever tasted with seasonal toppings. The staff is delightful, the decor exquisite and I love that they really care about sustainability.

Great place to go for some unique pizzas that are really good. I had a salty egg and chive pizza that was awesome, but it's hard to beat a good traditional margarita pizza sometimes, which unfortunately they don't serve. It's a no tipping restaurant so the prices look high, but what you end up paying will not be much more than what you'd pay at a normal place. When I went, the service wasn't top notch, I though they forgot about us for a while... but I'm sure that's not the usual experience.

A unique pizza place. You will not find "standard" pizza on the menu. However, their pairings are very good. The crusts are usually unique as well. It's a fun and delicious take on pizza, and a hip place to grab a bite. I just am not sold that I like to variate from "normal" pizza

Seriously shocked by some of the lower reviews on here. This is hands down our FAVORITE place to eat in Pittsburgh. The waitstaff is always great. They even welcome us back because we come a lot :) A personal responsibility for advertising for Dinette by telling everyone we know about it! I have never ordered something here that I didn’t love. Everything is FRESH and vibrant. Hands down the best artisanal pizza. The crust is always crispy and the pie is always straight from the oven. No heavy grease and no soggy pizza crust. Our favorites are the prosciutto and ricotta. The salads are always innovative and the ingredients pair ridiculously well. In the summer, their fresh ingredients from their rooftop garden will blow your mind. Our favorite summer appetizer is the grilled peaches with burrata. We tried to recreate it at home but we just can’t do it justice. Such a fun place to go with friends. Everyone we bring loves it too.

This is my favorite place to eat in PGH. Sit at the bar and watch them make your pizza, and your fresh salads, often with ingredients harvested from the garden on the roof. They transitioned to a non-gratuitous pay system, (meaning, no tipping) and they should be applauded for that. Just be prepared to pay the same as you would have for a delicious meal plus tip. It's worth it. Go in the summer and watch the sun set out the back window. I used to work in a fancy brick oven pizza restaurant in Philadelphia, so I know what I'm talking about. Dinette is legit, the real deal. And freaking delicious.

Really good thin crust pizza with creative toppings. Quality has been consistently good. Love the appetizers-shishito peppers and soups taste very good. Place gets packed in the evenings, parking is easy to find.

Best pizza I've had in a long, long time. Fresh ingredients and a delicious crispy crust. Cold, crisp local beer to go with. Simple, elegant and understated decor. Attentive and impeccable service. We came from out of town and had this recommended by a local. This should be packed every night, but that would probably ruin it, wouldn't it?

Consistently excellent. Gone there for years. You like good pizza, olives, cured meats, fresh bread sticks, wine, or chocolate? How about ingredients grown on the roof and a no-tipping policy? Lots to love about this place. Nom!

I love this place! It's the kind of place where you can pick anything on the menu and enjoy it. It's also a place where you leave full but not uncomfortably stuffed. The ingredients are always fresh and (I think) local. Some reviewers mentioned the only entrees are pizza. If I'm not in the mood for pizza, I like to start with the olives and (complimentary) bread sticks, then get a few appetizers to share. I have never once tried something I didn't like, and it is enough food. The grilled shishito peppers dish is amazing, and I don't even normally like peppers! Knowing that the employees are well-paid and taken care of is wonderful and extremely rare. Makes me feel good supporting this restaurant. The wine selection is fantastic, and even better, the servers and bartender are great at describing the wine and helping you choose. Last thing I love about this place is that you can grab a groumet pizza and a beer for less than $20, or you can have a leisurely food and wine adventure for hours, trying different things. Highly recommend!
