Chef Crab

Wonderful food and very friendly service! We ordered the catfish basket and the shrimp basket as our entrees. Everything came out hot and the breading on both of our dishes was delicious; not too thick and not too crumbly. Catfish basket was HUGE, you definitely get what you paid for! We ordered a couple bottled beers and were provided with chilled glasses to pour them in. For dessert we ordered beignets, which were also hot and delicious and were more than enough for 2 people (but we ate them all anyways). Service was prompt and very friendly. The atmosphere is very friendly and the restaurant has lovely decorations. We will definitely be eating here again.

Disappointed on Sunday, June 26, 2016. The flesh of the crab was a bit thin and seemed overcooked. We ordered a container of gumbo to go, and when we got home discovered that it was 85% rice with a little gumbo thrown in for flavor. We enjoyed the look of the place, the overall idea and how they serve the food. The young man who served us was very good. Overall, the quantity of food was okay, but the quality was lacking. We probably will not go back because there are other places where the food quality is better for the money spent.

This place is family ran. The portions are great. The flavor is incredible. Plenty of options. Cheap! Like New Orleans cheap. Get the Garlic butter, it is the best!!!! Mia served us. She was extremely pleasant and on point. The place is clean and spacious. You don't have to sit on top of everyone. The gumbo was loaded with good stuff and spicy! It has a bar. It was our first trip but it was great. We will be returning.

There were 3 of us. Gyoza and Seaweed salad appetizers were good. I had green curry with seafood- it was great, perfectly put together. Daughter had Cajun Salmon- it was great, super flavorful. Wife had Bourbon Chicken- it was not good, overcooked and dry with not enough sauce. Overall we liked it and will skip the Bourbon Chicken next time.

As a boiling crab fan, I was a pretty surprised. I think the chef crab is doing a great job. The combination of the thai food and Cajun seafood are pretty good. Besides, now they are offering 25% discount of the total bill if you order with any thai food. The service was attentive and outstanding as well as delicious food. I will definitely be back.
