The legend of the potato pancakes is true. No other creation on earth can compare to the recipe Perkins holds for the exquisite potato pancakes. Potato pancakes cured my arthritis and made me feel like I’m young again. I’ve been driving all across the country just to find a Perkins so I can devour the potato pancakes. I now make regular 15 hour drives once a week to stock up on potato pancakes. These potato pancakes have the possibility of saving the world if they were released into the wild.

We were frequent patrons,, loved the food, bakery & book exchange, the atmosphere, even the waitresses but today, instead of being shown to the main booths to the left of the entrance we were taken to the back , the waitress set menus on the very last table in the corner. Only halfway thru I turned to look @ who was there and realized it was a segregated area. She asked ok? I looked @ her & said NO. Told her where we usually sit a the waitress, flippanly responded " Well, You could have told me." Seated us just outside the back area. A mother & her 2 children came in & were escorted to the segregated area. My husband & I are an interracial couple. We were always treated respectfully wondering if management changed.

Very cool small place, the place is usually busy but they have a garage; very dense but a garage downtown nonetheless.

I love it, they have different options for breakfast, although other meals look delicious as well as pancakes or omelets. The attention was wonderful, the price and the portions seemed reasonable and the pancakes delicious and fluffy. They also have a variety of children's menus and over 55.

Great way to start my birthday with a free Magnificent 7. It is also free pie Mon/ w purchase of entree. Offer cannot be combined.
