Monte Cristo is my favorite sandwich, but sadly I don't think I'd call this a Monte Cristo. I was expecting it to be battered and fried like a traditional one, but instead it's pretty much just a ham and cheese french toast sandwich. The cheese also was piled up on just one side of the sandwich, leaving half of it to just be bread and ham. Still good, but disappointing. Hope they consider changing the recipe!

Great service, delicious food. The deviled eggs were an interesting take. The crab cake sandwich was also packed with crab. Dessert was amazing combo of sweet and savory. Cute outdoor sitting. We sat inside which is nice but there were flies all around the table. Highlight of it all is Kara. Bubbly, friendly, so quick in what she does, multitask and you could just ‘see’ her smile through her mask (covid19)

I will give the entree the only good comment, pork short ribs pic enclosed w carrots , pearl onion (skin on) and yes, singular (1) pearl onion peas mash and broth. Pretty hood over all. What was bad you ask ? Stood at host stand for 4 minutes with no service ! 2 people at the bar and us standing there. Not too busy. Where was the hostess ? Well, I walked. into the back room and gossiping was apparently more important than 2 locals that eat out every night !!! I ask for a table and she says hmmmm only two of you ? At this point I considered going to a far better place like La Fable or Eden. But we suffered through it as we felt bad we were customers number 3 and 4 . If not for ALCOHOL, THE OVER ALL experience would have been a 1 star report. But, my rum and tonic had maybe 1/2 ounce of rum and 8 oz. Of stale tonic and a sour lime. Cherry in my Manhattan was freezer burnt or just bad (white) . Shrimp cocktail, 6 small U-16-20 count laying flat on a dish with 1 teaspoon or less of cocktail sauce (ketchup ) no horseradish ! And dusted with old bay (ODD) Calamari fried (bike tire) . But we were gracious much to my dismay !!! The only one (1) to blame is the owners , if you cannot afford to be open with the best of product possible, close the place down and save what is left of your reputation. It used to be great, and now......... I have had better experiences at fastfood places. But like I always say, survival of the fitest . This place will be gone if this type of service and quality continues. There are far too many GREAT places to go than to settle !!!!! Good luck

Service was great, calamari was average, needs some sort of dipping sauce. Beet salad was good, as were the pork chop and rib entrees except the mac and cheese tasted like kraft white cheddar right out of the box. Very good cornbread. My biggest gripe is the stools we sat on outside with no back. If we go back I will insist on one of the tables with chairs.
