Bocata Latin Grill

Great food, even our three kids enjoyed their food. We tried the domino empanadas, the hamburguesa and the bocata nachos. All wonderful. Food took about 15 minutes to get after ordering, so you know it's fresh. The fries were really good, too. Lots of texture and flavor. Very good with their cilantro sauce!

Loved it! The outside is strip it's in doesn't do it justice but on the inside, the place looks clean, staff in the kitchen were wearing gloves (after my very own germaphobe heart!), and the food was delicious!!! Fresh quality food even though I arrived within 15 minutes of closing. I purchased the nachos (vegetarian) and domino arepa. I'll definitely be back! Sorry no photos but next time I will!

The food was amazing!!! I got the traditional dish - Pabellon: shredded beef, rice, black beans, cheese, plantains, avocado, and a fried egg. The flavors were perfect together and not spicy, which was great for me. The service was friendly. They took our order at the front counter. Our food came out quickly. We were on a tight schedule so we were worried we might not be able to make it to the airport on time if we stopped to eat, but it worked out perfectly! The only downside is that we live out of state so we can't eat here all the time. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a quick, delicious bite to eat in Richmond, Virginia. Seriously, this must be the best kept secret in VA! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and 👍👍

From the outside, doesn't look like much. However, the great tasting food and friendly service completely offset the outward appearance. Walked up and he handed us a menu. Very nice, patiently answered my questions and made some good recommendations. I had the hamburguesa. My wife had the Nachos and we split a Pabellon empanada. The hamburguesa was amazing. Egg, sliced ham, two burger patties, Cole slaw and a massive amount of melted cheese. What could be wrong with that? The only problem is if you aren't really hungry. The Pabello empanada wasnt my favorite. The sweetness of the plantain wasnt my preference. The nachos were amazing and very filling. I will definitely be coming back.
