Picciotti's Pizza

I'm always looking for old school ny style pizza. Cheese oozing, grease dripping and sauce. Pizza should have sauce. I was doing good for about 6 years at another pizza place then apparently they change people or the recipe. Every establishment have a bad day but 2 bad days, you lose me as a customer. That being said, I saw this place and took a chance. NY style is a yes. They're sauce is flavored the right way , gooey cheese have a stretch to it and a nice thin crust. Very yummy in my tummy. Can't wait to go back there.

This pizza is kinda great. I wasn’t expecting much and I was surprised when it was very similar to an old staple from VCU… Picolla’s at Harrison and Main. We got the eggplant parmigiana pizza and it’s fantastic. Fresh basil, good cheese/sauce ratio, and the eggplant was cooked perfectly. Can’t ask for more. My buddy said we need to try the Grandmas Pizza. That will be our next pizza.

Love the food here. We usually get a large pizza to split and the slices are pretty big, very much NY pizzas. I’ve had the steak and cheese sub (deluxe), very flavorful and the peppers were cooked just right. The fries were good. My husband got the meat Stromboli and loved it too. Seems like you can’t go wrong here! 10/10

We wanted to try a pizza from somewhere we haven’t tried before so we decided on this one after calling a few others. The phone employee was friendly and informative. He let us know that it’ll take a while for it to be delivered when we called, so we ordered it online ahead of time. I checked out their menu online after the phone call. There were a ton of options so I just went with what we usually enjoy. Since we like seafood I ordered a medium size shrimp pizza. We also wanted to try one of their subs, so we got a grilled chicken sub. For dessert we went with tiramisu. And a two liter Sierra Mist for soda. It was a bit pricey, but we got a generous amount of food. The delivery guy came earlier than we expected. We got the medium pizza yet it was the size of large pizza. Sub was cut in half so it was easy to split and it came with fries. Pizza was tasty though it has less mushrooms and shrimp than expected. Sub was alright, the fries were ok, and the tiramisu was good. If you want to try a different pizza place that’s nearby and has generous portions which comes with other options such as subs and dessert, then this place is worth trying.
