Golden Corral Buffet And Grill

These places are getting harder to find. Many of them are going out of business. I guess the buffet is more of the 80s and 90s. Now people are obsessed with healthy eating habits. I for one still enjoy the buffet bar. I also know I'm not winning any marathon games either! This location is clean and friendly. Good location just off I75. It can be crowded at times. The steak seems to be better here. Plan on spending $25-$30 for 2 people.

Today is Veteran's Day. I have not experienced anything like what this restaurant did today. They had the DAV at the door paying for meals for Veterans. They had Madison County ROTC in full uniform there opening doors for people, and then came the most profound and precious gesture of appreciation, honour, and respect: when they came in, Madison County ROTC was allowed to place the American flag in the one side of the restaurant and then to use the PA system. They announced, "Attention ladies and gentlemen, please stand as we sing the Star Spangled Banner and then play Taps. They played the song, all able bodies people in the restaurant, staff and guests included, stood up at attention, hands over hearts in silence toward the flag. Then we all remained standing likewise while Taps was played. Tears in my eyes. My father served in the army in Korea, my uncles all served in WWII. If they were still alive today, I know each one would have been deeply affected because like so many, they would have said that they were doing their duty. Thank you Golden Corral for standing (literally) in support of our Veterans. Thank you for the respect and honour you displayed for each one.

Overall good food. Very friendly server name Casey. All the serve people had masks on and the cooks too . I wore my mask in and every time I get up to go to the buffet. Most people had their mask on when they come in and when I left but didn't put them on when they were walking around going to the buffet. The restaurant had sanitizer and gloves available but most people didn't use the gloves. The server starts off by bringing you to clean plates and then replenishes the plates as you need them. You can't just pick up your own there.

Shocked. We travel all over this country. We've eaten in some of the worst Golden Corrals. This place though blew our minds with the quality of service. The food was so good and fresh. My steak was perfect. Ya believe that perfect. I wish I could have afforded to tip more. I really wish I could have tip the entire staff from the greeter to maintenance. The general manager of this restaurant should be very proud of their entire team. 👏 For a trucken family you may have no idea how nice and hard it is to actually find friendly ,clean, and healthy places we'll all eat. Thank you thank you

Food was good, typical for GC. Accessibility was good, walking distance from several hotels and bowling alley across the street. Cleanliness was normal for GC. Had a good waiter/bus boy, he kept drinks filled and was friendly. He constantly clean areas in his section and waited on customers. Would have gave 3 stars but waiter made the place 4 star worthy with his effort to support us. Big points to the waiter, we tipped him well.
