Great Price, Great Food, Great Service Came here on a whim and was not disappointed. The noodles were thick, the broth was tasty, and they had homemade chili paste that went great with the broth. I have eaten here more than three times, and I’m finally make this review. This place is the real deal; they honestly make the best udon in the area by catering to traditional tastes plus new and modern ideas! If you go here, it’s definitely worth the price that you’ll pay! Price Range: $-$$ Ambience: Modern but Homey feel! Customer Service: I’m pretty sure it’s family-owned, and everyone is incredibly nice and attentive. My favorites: Appetizer: Chicken Karaage Traditional: Inaniwa Udon with Assorted Tempura Modern: Pescatore + Carbonara

Might be a big statement, but when it comes to udon noodles, Circle Noodle is simply the best. They are located in a very trendy shopping center and are close neighbors to Foundation Social Eatery, which is another favorite of mine. Circle Noodle is small but elegant. When you enter you get the feeling of dining in a gastronomic Italian or French restaurant, but actually you're in a place whose sole focus is on Japanese cuisine with a hint of fusion. The seating arrangements are limited, this place can fill up fast because of it. The kitchen is exposed and you can sort of get a view of all the action behind the scenes. The menu is simple. You have your appetizers, I definitely recommend the Purple Gyoza dumplings. You have some drinks, the Green Tea milkshake is amazing. Finally you have your udon noodles, served a few varieties and styles, both traditional and modern. Take a look at the menu for all the details. Highly recommend trying out the modern udon options if you want something a bit different than the ordinary. What sets the udon noodles at Circle apart from the competition is the quality of the ingredients and richness of the broth. Each bowl of udon noodles is crafted and pleasing to the eyes. This is how udon should taste. Even the bowls you eat in themselves felt like there was some thought put into the design. The service was excellent during my visit. The chef himself would actually bring out all the orders. He also advised us to have the milkshake after our udon noodles to add to the flavor of the drink. One thing I noticed is that each table has a row of paper towels and not those cheap napkins you normally see at a restaurant. Think about how much cost goes into buying paper towel instead of napkins. This is quality and thoughtfulness a lot of places do not consider. Overall, this is going to be my standard bearer when it comes to udon now whenever I eat it, at least in the state of GA. As of now I have it ranked right at the top. Just remember, a lot of Japanese restaurant serve udon noodles in the state but not that many have it as their main focus, which is why Circle Noodle shines bright.
