This place was packed at lunch time but they really get everybody through that line so fast! So impressed with the staff. The whole place wound up clearing out in about 30 minutes. Great sandwich. They actually do need to get some like regular oil and vinegar? This whole weird Italian dressing thing is bizarre to me. It's one of the difficult parts of living in California is the bizarre sandwich fixings. As long as you're okay with a dry sandwich or bring your own, it's spectacular

My wife and I shared halves of The Mr. Pickle and the Santa Maria tri-tip. We had "The Works" without onions on both and they were excellent. Being a beef person, I preferred the tri-tip, but The Mr. Pickle was also excellent. The owner (sadly didn't get his name) was our server and steered us in all the right directions. We were in town only for the airport and asked him about starting a franchise in our town, but it looks like we'll just have to go back...for now...

For anyone originally from the Bay Area, this location is the closest I've seen prepare the sandwiches to the original location in San Mateo. Brings me nostalgic vibes from high school days. Different names on the menu but same sandwiches (the original location used to name the sandwiches after local high school mascots.)
Staff are friendly and work as efficiently as possible when putting together a sandwich. Rushing a process like that, you can expect a messy product, so patience on our part helps out a lot. If not, you can always order for pick up.
One of the few places I don't mind tipping generously. I order from here every couple weeks and the consistency is noted.

Great lunch!!! Had it for the first time a few weeks ago and haven't gone to another sandwich place since. Loved everything! My wife loves all of it!! Going back very very soon.

Clean establishment and customer service was great. Ordered from their mobile app and my order was ready for pick up once I’ve arrived. Sandwich was decent and good.

I just had the most delightful Ruebin sandwich. Traditional ingredients with plenty of corned beef.

One of the last restaurants that consistently delivers exceptional customer service and food. They never fail to greet you when you come in, they are respectful of your time and will stop what they are doing to assist with a line. The place is always clean and I have never been disappointed with my order. Keep up the amazing work!

We took our late morning walk, and on the way we stopped at Mr Pickle .Very friendly upon entering, we ordered our old stand by sandwich. Everything was great. Took our sandwich home for lunch.

Pretty good sandwiches. Had the Mr.Pickle & The Pastrami. Both good, came with a cookie and they will wrap your leftovers. Their special bread makes the sandwich. The white bread is not nearly as good.
