Magnolia Pancake Haus

🥞 This location of the Magnolia Pancake Haus in San Antonio, Texas is a beautiful venue with delicious food. Fantastic spot to bring your family and enjoy breakfast or brunch. The only sad part is there is no outside seating despite their area being primed for it! Food: I ordered the Calico Hash, which is their Haus-smoked pulled pork mixed with sweet potatoes, shredded russet potatoes, Spanish and red onions, topped with two eggs any style. It was a great choice with complimenting flavors. It went well with their toast and pancakes. Their pancakes are fantastic and definitely met my expectations of a "pancake house" pancake. Service: We had a wonderful experience with our waitress. Though she was busy, she remained attentive to our needs. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere: The one area that was a bit of a let down was the atmosphere. They have wonderful outside seating, which I'm pretty sure it's reserved for outside events, but it's sad that you can't eat outside. They only serve food inside. Overall, great place to stop for breakfast or brunch! Not the place to go if you're wanting to eat outside on a beautiful day.

Loved my pancakes and eggs. Their take on an avocado toast however, I am not into. Avocado toast should be a savory snack. Everyone else in the group also liked their foods but we share the same opinion on the avocado toast. Their waffles are hands down amazing. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good. I couldn't tell what they were trying to go for when it came to their decor. The staff and my family filled up the joy in the atmosphere. Our waiter, Alyssa, was great. She made sure we had everything we needed and more. She remains pleasant through our individual request and adjustments. The outdoor area was better in appearance, huge as well. I could not get a peak of the event hall.

Great food!! A++++, Service was good and friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable but very busy and loud at times. I didn't mind for the good food. Texas waffle with peach pecan combo was stellar, highly recommend! They have grits here and mimosas. Reasonably priced. I didn't like their menus didn't have pricing on them you have to scan a QR code for pricing, very deceptive if you are not technology savvy or don't have a phone with you.

This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Magnolia was recommended by a friend who knew we’d be visiting San Antonio. Our server was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond and was so incredibly nice and patient. The food was delicious, priced well and it was absolutely worth the wait!! Make sure to put this on your travel plans!

Food was delicious! Service was great. My husband said they had some of the best pancakes he has ever had in his life! The downside to this place is the line and amount of time you will be waiting. We went on a Thursday morning around 10am and waited around 30- 40 min to be seated. I can only imagine the lines during the weekends. I would definitely come back tho, even with the wait and all.
