After 12 long years, I finally checked out the explicitly named Sandwich Place. It was worth the wait.
I had the pastrami sandwich with all the trimmings (including jalapenos), and it was a generous and well-crafted sammy on a soft French roll. Will have this one again. The place is run by some sweet Latina ladies, very friendly and on top of everything. Pro Tip: this is a tiny place and it's best to order your sandwich ahead and just pick it up, the place can hold maybe 3 people at a time max. July 2015.

Best sandwich shop in SF! High quality ingredients, great flavor, and it's always a treat to see Juan at the counter. When I need a perfect deli sandwich and cup of coffee in the Mission, this is my spot. Family business for over 40 years.

A really small joint, but every sandwich is handmade with fresh ingredients. I go here pretty much weekly and the prices are good and the flavor is tops! The owner is very chatty and does his best to get to know his customers and will make good recommendations. Highly recommended!

Big sandwiches for low prices, perfect to grab for a day out. I really liked the Sophie's Delight, which was greasy and tangy in the best way, with delicious caramelized onions. Overall a very robust vegetarian sandwich menu, which I really appreciated. Cookies are good as well, and the main dude is really kind.

Maaaaaan this is a place for the locals and regulars! I've tried half their menu now and every time I'm blown away at how good it is. The quality of the ingredients and Juan's personality will keep you coming back. You really can't go wrong with any choice but here are some of my favorites:

We ordered the pastrami sandwich and it is big enough to share for two of us. Hot meat and toasted bread made the sandwich tasty.

This place has been serving delicious sandwiches for years (40 plus)! An old school classic.The hot pastrami is the best in the City if not the whole Bay Area. Juan (owner) is always behind the counter joking and making all his customers, old & new, feel welcomed and appreciated. I love this place because it feels like home, the real San Francisco I remember growing up.Juan and the shop are an important part of the Mission District & SF community. Gracias to Juan and the lovely ladies who work there!

so after getting 200,000 views on Teria Market.. I want to let people know about this wonderful little sandwich shop on 16st and mission.. The ower is awesome and so is his assistant. The food is handmade and ohh so yummy.. The prices are reasonable and filling.. check them out.. you'll thank me for it!
