Best lobster roll I've ever had! The chowder was divine and the hot pastrami sandwich was perfection! Complimentary coffee!

Incredible breakfasts with huge portions. We had western omelette, cheese scrambled eggs, french toast, blueberry pancakes, homemade hash, hash browns, sausage, and even a lobster roll. Everything was perfect, right down to the toasted roll.

I work down the street from Ida's and it's dangerous. This place is just stupid fantastic. Simple yet well executed and just delicious. Try the entire menu because you truly can't go wrong.

Clam chowder M chowder tasted like it was reheated 19 times. Clams we're same texture as the potatoes. An unassuming place - I ordered the lobster roll and it was the best ever! Have had many along the east coast. This was fresh, sweet, tender lobster meat, tails and claws on a toasted roll. One of the best New England has to offer I might say.

Dropped by in 2015 , passing through. There was this guy who was a squirrel lover and he made our day! Very friendly, good food, lovely memory! We are planning another trip in Maine and we will stop by hoping to see him again. I read some negative comments about the lady owner but when we were there, she was very nice and welcoming. I have nothing bad to say about this place!

We love Ida Mae's. They are great to our kids. If you live in the area, you know their prices are very reasonable. As long as its not their busiest time they make homemade fries that are killer. I've never been disappointed by any of the specials. Not the easiest place to eat, if your on a diet though. Ha.
