Trejo's Mexican Restaurant

Shout out to the guy getting chips and salsa because without him we wouldn't have been acknowledged. Walking in the hostess didn't say anything for and then quickly sat us, absolutely no personality for the job. The waiter barely acknowledged us we order our plates and couldn't get anything more from him. The chips was put on our table and he got our drinks and refills. The food was good cause I didn't cook. But very much tex mex basic and ok flavor.. salsa was my fav because of the flavor. I am currently 20 mins in waiting on someone to give my check so I can go.

I was looking for a place to grab a quick bite before church and found this place nearby on Google Maps. I was seated quickly and the chips & salsa came immediately. The chips were fine but the salsa was mostly of the “open a can of tomatoes” variety you find so common. It took some time before someone took my order. It looked like one waitress was given the full load even though there were other people including a manager standing around not being productive and helpful. She seemed to get the majority of the workload and seemed stressed out. She apologized for the wait and I ordered the $5.99 Enchilada Special and was given the choice of beef, chicken, or cheese and also a choice of red sauce, cheese sauce, or chili as a topping. I chose the beef enchiladas with chili and it turned out to be a great choice. I like having the option of ordering a dish different ways. You can create your own variety to suite your taste. The enchiladas were fantastic and the highlight of my meal. It took some more waiting to take care of my check which is not something I like to do. So the big question with all my reviews is, “Would I go back?” That would be a definite yes to get the enchiladas again or try something new. Trip #2: I tried the Lunch Combo #6. It was a cheese enchilada, tamale with rice and beans. I didn’t like the enchilada with the red sauce. It is much better with the chili con carne that came on the tamale.

Service sucks 😞 3 wait person's and only 1 other table of guests in the restaurant, took 20 mins to get our drinks and then we had to wait 10 more before yet another person came to take our orders.. while they all took turns sitting with the waitress 3 children that were camped out in one of the booths

Service was ok. Food looked and tasted worse then a TV dinner. The queso flamade would have been excellent if bottom had not been burnt black. Chile Relleno was terrible. Looked very unappetizing and no taste at all. The chimichanga was the same way. The best thing was the new mini cheesecake chimichanga. They were awesome!..
