Crispy light batter that is somehow still substantial without getting greasy. Halibut perfectly cooked and a good sized portion.
Chips cut from real potatoes, unsalted so you can add just the amount of salt you wish. Gave extra tartar sauce at no extra cost. Will be back!

Great little fish and chips place for a Sunday lunch.
Very authentic, nice servers, unique location.... We are not from Victoria area but it looks like a residential area... It work though!

Recently visited and enjoyed the ambiance, but even more the fish & chips. The fish is coated, but not battered, so it isn't greasy and calorific. The fries were hot. The server was very pleasant and efficient, and we were served quickly.

Great tasting fish, with a light crispy crunch. Doesn’t have that heavy batter.
Enjoyed the family platter, it was very generous.

Halibut was great, fries needed to be cooked longer because some were soft inside. Excellent service and clean establishment. Great prices.

Wanted to eat somewhere else. But couldn’t go to the place I wanted to go. So google great fish places in Sidney and this came up. So here I went. So glad I did. Food was excellent fast and it was hot!! The service was excellent. Cute off the beaten path fish place! Worth your time for sure.

We decided to go for a drive to Sydney. We got kind of hungry, so we obviously needed to find a nice and interesting place to eat some great food at. This fish and chip place was amazing. I personally haven't had fish that had such a light batter that wasn't too oily. They really know what they are doing here. Tartar sauce and coleslaw were also extremely well done. Also, I highly recommend the crab cakes as well, so tasty. They have quite a few seats, as there is both inside and outside seating. The patio is very well done and also covered for the rain and sun. Service was excellent and very fast. Restaurant is in a cute residential neighborhood attached to an old schoolish corner store. So cute. Thank you.

Great fish and chips - the batter is light and crisp. Yam fries and crab cakes are also nice. Large portions. The interior is a bit shabby, but it fits the nautical decor and doesn't distract from the overall charm of a small neighbourhood eatery.

Great little gem in Sidney for fish & chips! Got both some cod and halibut fish, the halibut was really delicious!! Best fish & chips in town, hands down 👌🏼 Also the owner let us have the dog out on the patio when we were eating, super friendly and great service!
