Live locally and first time customers as neighbouring food destination was shut. Potato fritters were great & finally found a chippie where there was more potato then batter. Batter was minimal & potato was reasonably thick. The oysters were the same & other food was great. Good service & only wish we’d found the place sooner. Keep it up 👍

Came here from winderholm last night because of the reviews and we were not disappointed. I haven't had fish on chips in about a year and absolutely loved this place. The snapper was fresh, the batter was light and crispy. The hashbrowns were delicious. We don't mind spending more for quality food but even the price was reasonable. Very flavourful and delicious. Just one tip. Add a little cinnamon to your pineapple fritters and that'll be perfection.

What a beautiful small fish and chips shop. My family of 5 and I stopped to just buy a large tray of chips while on the road, which we shared at a little table outside, while it grew dark. Such a hardworking and friendly family running the shop made sure we were comfortable and everything was clean. They served really good hot chips too. I would love to stop there again if we go through Silverdale and would happily recommend them.

I ordered snapper and kumara fries here for lunch, light and crispy batter good size portion of fish. Not greasy at all the hand cut kumara fries were thick and crunchy and perfect. Thanks so much for a delicious lunch. Recommend this place to anyone for a great fish and chips experience. Premises is nice and clean. Good is delicious - I’ll be back to try more of the menu for sure!
