Chicken gumbo appetizer was delicious! Ribeye steak with baked potato, shrimp skewer over Cajun Rice was very good but could have been a little better. The restaurant offers an array of cheesecake desserts, but I went with the strawberry cake for dessert which was scrumptious! Very nice day core inside. Will visit again!

I imagine that this place was once a local favorite. It has nice ambience, and a good menu. Fun drinks, and plenty of desert options. When entering there was no hostess for quite some time. I went to find an employee in the bar area, and then about 5 minutes later the very young hostess showed up to tell us there was a wait. The establishment is pretty large and was not busy at all. Once seated I noticed there were at least four server's, two food runners, a woman at the dessert counter, another woman who appeared to be a manager, and a man in the bar area. They only had a handful of tables seated. There was lots of employees that seems to be confused as to what they should be doing. To be fair most appeared to be very young like high school freshman young. Our waiter was very courteous, and very neat looking. Our food came quickly and was pretty good. Upon leaving the waiting room was packed. There's no reason for that with all the empty table's and so many employees.

Generally Speaking I've eaten at legends about 10 times. For the most part the experiences have been OK. I must admit the last experience was below expectations. Our server was an middle aged but can tell he was learn learning the job and was pretty slow. The younger servers seem to lack energy. Food was pricey for the selections. Sadly, I can only offer a so, so review.

wasn’t even seated. my family of four waited for over 35 for a table when we were told that it would only be a 10 minute wait. multiple parties were leaving at a time and they had been cleaning tables for a bigger party but would not seat us. the hostess was rude and was very low spoken. looked at everyone every rudely. managers were poor. i will NEVER be back to this restaurant.

Visited here as a part of a group of 6, on a Saturday afternoon about 3pm. I called ahead to see if I needed to put my name in for a table and they do not take reservations. No biggie. Lots of places don't anymore. When we arrived we did not have to wait to be seated. The first thing I noticed was that the restaurant was very clean and well taken care of. Second thing I noticed was the menu was HUGE. Lots of stuff going on. Took me more than a few minutes to read the majority of it. Decided on the 6oz sirloin with potato and wedge salad. I also ordered a side of the roasted brussel sprouts. The meal, well it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. My cut of sirloin had a huge tendon in it. It tasted good and was cooked to my liking but I just didn't like the huge tendon in it. My potatoe was kinda dry like it had been in a warmer way too long. And the Brussels, while the seasoning and flavor were great. They were not fresh. So the texture was mushy. The cost was more than the same meal at Texas Roadhouse and not as good. The others in my party had good meals. And I was told the ribs were amazing. I wouldn't be opposed to going back and trying it again. The restaurant was very full by the time we left so it's obviously well liked.

This place was the best. Seriously *the* *best*. But since Covid began, they've completely gutted their menu and are selective about what they'll have available and at what time. They also discarded their salad bar (the best salad bar in Middle Tennessee) for a desk where you can purchase overpriced desserts and alcohol. Legends used to be a hidden treasure of Smyrna. Now it's just a disappointment worth passing over.
