Waffle House

It was busy I was alone so I sat at the counter. I guess about 10 minutes went by and these 2 young men came in and sat by me, I told them I was glad that I might get some attention now. When greeted, she greeted all 3 of us and took our orders. We talked and ate together and she dropped the check so I asked those 2 how much do you think ya'll cost me today?? We laughed and told the waitress we needed the check separated as we weren't together and she was kind of shocked. So while this is going on the younger of the 2 got up and paid the whole bill. This young man is 17 so I was shocked at his kindness. Just have to say these two were the best part of my dining experience. Thanks for giving me company and buying lunch! Sorry this has nothing to do with Waffle House 😂

Always check your togo order before leaving here. Waitress was very accommodating for our large order of 6 meals togo it seemed, but they forgot an order completely and messed up an order. They weren’t busy and had several empty tables. It wouldn’t be such a big deal, but they forgot a food order for someone that has an allergy issue. Again, the waitress was nice and I trusted her with the order. I didn’t think to check it, so that’s my error. Moving forward I probably won’t order Togo from them again, but I highly advise to always check before leaving.

Service was great, servers were very polite and any concerns we had they politely addressed them in a very timely manner. The store was clean, food was fresh and hot and the wait time was none. I ordered my daughter a hash brown bowl and she didn't want eggs. It came with eggs but they fixed it immediately and didn't charge us for the other one even though we said we would pay so that was nice. It was quiet but cozy and watching the cars go by was not so bad. I think our server was Haley and I suggest you sit in her area because she was very sweet and attentive.

Waffle House is always a hit or miss to me and this location is no different. All I ordered was a waffle and a side of sausage to go. I waited in the restaurant for the order and I guess I should have checked my order before I left but the only thing fresh was the sausage. The cook put a cold, limp, soggy waffle in my order. It wasn’t fresh at all. Make sure they make your stuff fresh. Ask how long the grits have been sitting out too. Waitress was nice though. Stop cutting corners and cook the food fresh!!!!
