This is my go to for affordable great food. Staff is friendly, clean and pretty quick. The 4 meals for under 4dollars are the best. Oreo shake is like I always remembered from kidhood.

I have never been so terribly UNIMPRESSED in my life. They expect you to eat a ponyshoe in a sandwich sized to go container with plastic utensils. It was very quickly a soggy, nasty mess!! I wouldn't even take the leftovers home to my dog because she deserved much better!! I I will never again walk in to the once iconic Steak n shake ever again. I deserve much better!!

Probably one of the worst times we’ve ever gone here, our cup broke. They didn’t have ranch. The burger was okay, milkshake was probably the best thing.

The guy at the register, who i think is the manager was freaking rude. People were sitting in here for an hour, found out thier ticket was lost and the manager was a doosh about it!
Forgot why i quit coming here and now i remember!

I haven't had a single good experience out of many visits to be honest. 1.5 sometimes the food is good and correct!

Photos attached: The floors were dirty. Bathrooms both mens and womens beyond gross. Mustard and ketchup bottles all dirty. Mustard had a huge clump of hard mustard come out. The waitress forgot my coleslaw and mayo. She quickly fixed in. They were out of lemon. The piece of lettuce was a tiny little piece that covered only a quarter of the sandwich. Food seemed to just be slapped on the plate. Presentation just was not the normal stake n shake. Photos attached.
Came back 2 weeks later. It was much cleaner. Bathrooms were spotless. Food what plated beautifully and was cooked perfect. Great improvement!!!

You should avoid going to restaurants that no customers are there when you arrive. Food was disgusting. 2 stars because the staff was nice.

Worse service ever. Hamburger so tough had to cut it with a pocket knife, and this was on a horseshoe. Very little cheese mainly on one side of fries with 2 pieces of bread that were barely toasted,dried out around the edges. Thirty dollars for our meal. RIDICULOUS!! Worst meal.
