Wow what an amazing place. Authentic Vietnamese with a twist. And the staff are so friendly. Definitely take advantage of the BYO like we did.

Ordered takeaway; roasted duck fillet rolls & hoisin peanut sauce, slow-cooked pork shoulder thịt kho in pepper caramelised sauce, and rice. Overall the meal was nice.
But... the website menu says you get 6pcs of rice paper rolls, yet I only got 3. Not sure if there was supposed to be a second container, but I didn't realise until I got back to my hotel room. It could have been an honest mistake, or an outdated online menu, but it is the reason for my lower rating this time.

I really really like xage, super cool and super cool food. All the food is really fresh and has great flavours. The staff are really friendly and they even bring water to the table without asking for it. If you like Vietnamese food and you are in Surry Hills then look no further!

Lovely Vietnamese place. Prices are decent and the location is very nice, just off-the-street. Desert was amazeballs.

The food was lovely and reasonably priced. Our group of 8 ordered extra dishes as were still hungry. They no sooner arrived and we were presented the bill and told there was a booking for our table at 8:30pm so we had to go. It was so rude as the restaurant was less than half full so there was plenty of room. Our table was being cleaned up as we finished our drinks. We finally left at 8:40pm and no one extra turned up. Won't be rushing back.

Quick and tasty Vietnamese food. All the usual options. Good for a quick, casual bite to eat. The staff are really friendly and the service was good. Grilled prawns are delicious as are the Vietnamese salads. There are a couple of small tables outside and plenty indoors with sliding doors that open right up

Underwhelming.
The menu was tattered and hard to read... it didn't have a great selection of Vietnamese food.
The stir fry I had was nice, with several prawns, but it felt more like a Chinese dish as it was full of mostly onions with a few carrots and zucchinis thrown in.
Rice paper rolls get top marks for freshness and taste! But 3 small ones for $12.50 felt too steep.
Service was a bit erratic but they were very busy and had some trainees so I can't comment how it would be normally.
Won't be returning.
