I went for the popular cacio and pepe pasta and I was a bit disappointed with the serving size. Also the pasta was stone cold and a little bit on the raw side. Apart from that, there is a good selection of wines and antipastos to choose from. The restaurant is quite small and cosy, ideal for an intimate dinner. Pricing on the high end side - if the servings were more generous it would be worth a second visit.

Came here for dinner with my partner after walking past multiple times and excited for what they had to offer. The wine is amazing and their recommendations on the wine are great, however, the food is the downfall. The starters are basic and the pasta is too (I got the chef special pasta which was bland) but for the price it is definitely not worth it, too expensive for what you get. I'd recommend to go elsewhere as the pricing is way to high for what you get, the food is just average.

The starter was amazing, zucchini flower stuffed with honey. Light and paired perfectly with a wine. Ultimately we came here for the Cacio e Pepe, was extremely excited as this was both mine and my partners first experience. The cheese wheel came out and we were waiting for the delightful spin and melts cheese, only to be dissatisfied and disappointed with the sight of scraping against the cheese and trying to mix it into the pasta. At the time we didn’t realise but this was because the pasta was ice cold. After completing our cheese wheel and serving it, we dug straight in to it and realised that our pasta was very cold. It was palatable but because they were busy and me not have done my research I just assumed this is how it’s done. To my fright when I shared my experience with friends, they were entertained by the fact that i ate cold cheese wheel pasta. Very bad experience. To the lady with the dog that kept barking out the front. Do you really feel that a dog barking at the top of his lungs is gonna be a good atmosphere for the rest of the patrons, the high pitched whines of the dog are still ringing in my ears.

This place. One of the last bastions where you find real hospitality people. Pete and Marcelo are the most amazing restauranteurs. xx

We live close by so have been here a few times and enjoy the food, wine and atmosphere. However recently we booked for dinner and were completely rushed through our food and pretty much thrown off the table by the English waiter after only being there about 50 mins. The food comes out quick, but we were enjoying our first dinner out in a while and wanted to sit and finish our drink while chatting for another - he came over repeatedly looking flustered and asking if we needed anything else, was quite rude while trying to remove dishes before we had finished them, and then basically then asked us to leave as people needed a table. I understand you are busy, but if we are spending over $150 on food and wine maybe let us enjoy the meal and not rush us when it hasn’t even been an hour and we had booked a table well in advance. We shouldn’t be made to feel like an inconvenience- we made a booking and wanted to enjoy our meal.

I was told about this place long before COVID caused it's havoc, but I've only just been. It was genuinely great. The menu is quite small but there are specials. Quality food, very tasty. Nice decor, good ambience. The music was decent and the service was great. I will be back.

Update 2022 - as this place isn’t as popular as few years back with so many new pasta spots in town. But that’s a good thing - easier to make a booking even walk-in. And the food and service are still amazing. This is how you tell its a good restaurant. Great place with nice people. Great pasta and wine. Just few items on the menu tho.
