Sushi Bay

My favourite neighbourhood Korean restaurant. They used to serve a whole lot more side dishes with unlimited refill. But this time around, they left a note on the menu stating that due to higher cost, refill is only free the first time. And they served only 4 side dishes but they were all so delicious. The spicy fish roe soup and seafood pancake were the best dishes for a cold rainy night.

It’s my first time then I have to come the second. That’s how good it is I love everything from the chicken, to the ox tail soup and seafood pancake, and especially the purple rice. As someone who works in hospitality myself I can totally understand why they had to charge extra for the kimchi and other side dishes. Keep up the good work.

This is no longer the best Korean restaurant. I used to love this place so much that I would spend over $100 every time I ate barbecue or not (I'm sure). I don't mind the high price and the recent price increase, but I just can't stand the service and the declining quality of this store. 1. For the quality of roast meat, you can find a lot of restaurants in Sydney with better meat and better prices. 2. The reason why the food is delicious is that many of them are semi-prepared. They use instant noodles that can be bought in supermarkets and add stale seafood to make their seafood noodles. 3. The Korean lady at the checkout counter makes me feel like I owe her millions of dollars... 4. There will never be a waiter to take you to your table when you arrive. This shop used to be willing to use NSW voucher. I don't want to hear a lot about your reasons for not wanting to use NSW voucher, and I told you at the beginning that I used to spend at least $100 each time. This is only the first time I have proposed the use of voucher. This is the first time I've ever left a bad review on Google, and I find it hard to believe that this was once my favorite store. You lost your loyal customers. I'm not coming back. But thank you to all of you who have been great in the last few years.

I don’t really post negative reviews, so here’s a first. Food here is good, a bit overpriced but is good IMO. What bothered me is the service at the place, people working here seem miserable and it shows on how they do their work. Sadly. I’ve had some dishes just somewhat thrown at our table and another occasion where a waitress was changing the charcoals, just left a mess of ashes at the table and didn’t even bother wiping it. Overall we had a good meal that was overshadowed by bad service.

They used to be good but now has turned to s***. Customer service is zero and the meat for bbq tastes flavourless, chewy and small portion. I also found hair in my food which they told me was animal hair but honestly didn’t look like it. Ordered the marinated meat and told them it was flavourless, they didn’t care. Overpriced and clearly don’t care about their quality of food. Disappointing because they used to be amazing.
