The girl serving us was super friendly and helpful since we haven’t been here for a couple of years and can’t really remember the menu. The chocolate fondue is my absolute favourite, it’s so nice and enjoyable. A lot of places I used to visit when I was a kid let me down when revisiting them but here honestly surpassed my expectations it was excellent! I’d happily come here again.

I've come here before and found the milk chocolate hot chocolate quite bland, so I thought the dark chocolate would be better. Unfortunately, it was just okay at best and the size for "regular" takeaway for $6.95 is equivalent to a small size anywhere else. For a place specialising in chocolate and at those prices, I wouldn't recommend.

Customer service is atrocious. No conversation, no smiles, no customer engagement. Our chocolate soufflé was served cold and the whole experience was less than memorable. Staff were more interested in talking with each when there was no queue at the counter rather than working the business. Broken and wonky tables with signs everywhere in the store. Visiting Max in the distant past was always good. Not sure about that any more.
